10 creative ideas for organizing the kitchen today

Looking for ideas to organize the kitchen?

I think that when it comes to organization, one of the most interesting aspects of the theme is the organization of the house. I particularly love to find interesting ideas and tips for organizing a particular room in a simple, practical and creative way.

It was thinking about it that I decided to create this series of 9 posts that will deal with the organization of the house, bringing solutions and simple ideas for you to organize each room in an amazing and practical way! For starters, I brought some organizational ideas to the kitchen. Let's go, shall we?

1. Arrange cereals and goodies in glass jars inside the kitchen cabinet

Use glass pots to arrange groceries inside the kitchen cabinet. With them, you can standardize the organization, making everything more tidy and beautiful as well. If you have shelves to expose everything, even better! What I like most about this idea is that it makes the routine much easier: it's much easier to find what you're looking for!

2. Use labels to organize the kitchen

Another simple and beautiful way to organize your kitchen is by placing labels on the organizer boxes and baskets and in your grocery pots. Not to mention that this makes it much easier to find what you need!

The labels are a grace in the kitchen decoration and there are several models available for download on the internet (ie you do not need to buy!).

3. Arrange your crockery on shelves and drawers with trays and drainers

One more simple solution to organize the dishes on the shelves and drawers: use boxes, baskets organizers, trays and even the dishwashers! This is great for optimizing the space inside the closet!

Dish runners, for example, are a great option for organizing plastic pot lids that are stacked anyway inside the closet, taking up more space than they should.

4. Hooks are another great way to organize your crockery, meters and cutlery

Another cool tip to optimize the space in the kitchen is to install hooks on the closet shelf to hang your favorite cups; So, you organize and decorate the kitchen at the same time!

You can also use ganchinhos to organize your kitchen meters! Super cool, huh?

5. Shoe organizer for wafers and candy and partition for household appliances

You can also take advantage of those plastic shoe organizers to organize the kitchen: just nail one on the door of a closet and organize there sweets, cookies and other goodies!

As for appliances, how about making wooden partitions for the cabinet?

6. Partitions for organizing the cutlery in the drawer or a wonderful D.I.Y. to store, organize and display the cutlery in decoration

Arrange your cutlery in the drawer with its own partitions or make your own cutlery board! Just choose a beautiful fabric, cut the right size and nail to the board with the help of tacks and a hammer (or you can use that stapler suitable for wood if you have). It looks beautiful in the décor!

7. Garbage bags on a roll to facilitate routine

Can I say that I loved this idea very much? Can?! When I saw it, I stood here thinking, "I need something like this." It's practical and you can do it yourself with the help of samantha's beautiful tutorial from the Simply Organized blog. She used that area practically useless under the sink!

8. PVC pipes to organize wines and their seasonings all together in one place

This first idea is from Martha Stewart's website and I thought it was amazing! They are PVC pipes that you can use to create a mini cellar in your closet! To learn how to do it, just click here.

The other idea is very simple: arrange in a tray or plastic box your seasonings such as salt, vinegar, oil, olive oil and other condiments to facilitate when you need them! Just remove the tray from the place and put on the sink or table when you are going to use and return to the place when finished cooking! Simple and practical!

9. Arrange your tea bags in boxes

You can also organize your tea bags and enjoy decorating the kitchen! A simple wooden box with partitions (which you can make yourself with cardboard with wooden slats) will do! You can also paint the box and customize it the way you want!

10. Organize your utensils and cleaning products

If your utensils and cleaning products stay in the kitchen, take the opportunity to organize everything in organizer baskets, boxes or in plastic shoe organizers as in the images above. If you don't have a specific space for the products, bet on that little space in the closet under the sink!
